MCFA team update
Dennis Hamro-Drotz, Senior Programme Manager at Nefco, has been appointed as Acting Head of Department for Nefco’s Special Funds department effective 24 March 2025 and is taking over the leadership of the Department at Nefco after Ash Sharma.
Heli Sinkko, Programme Manager and Fund Manager of MCFA continues to lead the MCFA programme implementation as before.
Special Funds department works as a facility manager for various financing programmes focused on results-based financing and catalytic grants, such as MCFA and the Beyond the Grid Fund for Africa.
“We have a great team working with the various Funds under management, as well as a strong project portfolio and results. I’m looking forward to collaborating with our partners and other stakeholders in this new role,” comments Hamro-Drotz.
